Dr Nicole Filser
Head of Clinical Operations
Dr. Filser joined Biopartners in 2003 as Head of Clinical Project Management and now serves as Head of Clinical Operations. She holds a PhD from the Institute for Biochemistry at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, in Zurich after having obtained a MSc in Germany and France, published several scientific papers in journals and has held an EMBO fellowship. Prior to joining Biopartners, Dr. Filser gained substantial experience in management, clinical development and global development strategies at several prestigious pharmaceutical companies, including GlaxoWellcome and Amersham Health. Dr. Filser is responsible for the supervision and co-ordination of Biopartners' ongoing clinical development and ensuring that these projects run according to specified timelines and to the highest standards. Her principal remit, however, falls under the development of its interferon beta product. Within this capacity, Dr. Filser is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing relations with Biopartners ’s collaboration partner on interferon beta, mainly Rentschler Biotechnologie and European Charcot Foundation.
