Biopartners to present 3-year safety and efficacy trial data for its once-a-week sustained release recombinant human growth hormone (SR-hGH; LB03002) at major scientific conferences
Baar, Switzerland 20 August 2008: Biopartners has announced that it has been granted an oral presentation to share the three year safety and efficacy data on its once-a-week sustained-release human growth hormone (SR-hGH; LB03002) at the Fourth International Congress of the GRS and IGF Society, Genoa, 19 September 2008. In addition, its poster on the same topic has been nominated for a 'President Poster Award' at the 47 th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE 2008), Istanbul, 20-23 September 2008.
Biopartners is well advanced in the phase III development of its sustained-release human growth hormone (SR-rhGH; LB03002) to confirm that it demonstrates safety and efficacy profiles comparable with existing, daily human growth hormone products. The company plans to submit a marketing authorization application to EMEA in 2009.
In a separate poster at ESPE 2008, Biopartners will also present its three year safety and efficacy data on its daily human growth hormone, Valtropin®, approved for the treatment of growth hormone deficiency in children, growth hormone deficiency in adults and Turner's Syndrome.
